On the Costa Daurada
The excellent climatology, with warm summers and very mild winters, along with scarce rainfall, make the Costa Daurada also the ideal place to plan sports activities throughout the year.
The waters of the Mediterranean are perfect for practicing all water sports: from kayaking to paddle surfing, snorkeling, or coastering. The coastal facade of the Tarragona coast, along with its beaches and natural surroundings, is also ideal for exploring on a Segway.
Protected by the castle, Tamarit is a long and tranquil beach located very close to Altafulla. Its natural beauty and heritage make it the perfect backdrop for offsite events. Additionally, the Punta de la Móra, surrounded by Mediterranean forest, is a designated natural area of interest.
The town of Altafulla was declared a cultural heritage site of national interest in 1998 by the Generalitat de Catalunya, primarily due to the Vila Closa and its surrounding neighborhoods. Two years later, in 2000, it was also declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the Roman villa of Els Munts.
